In 2008 a governing document was adopted by the Deddington News committee, which established a governing body comprising the two joint editors (Jill Cheeseman and Mary Robinson) and the treasurer (Buffy Heywood). In addition there is a committee of sub-editors comprising: Charles Barker (Parish Council correspondent), Alison Day (Clubs and Societies), Jean Flux (Diary), Molly Neild (Features), Frank Steiner (Church/chapel), Kristin Thompson (Letters); and two advertisement managers (John Sampson and Debbie Grimsley).

It has a 'society' bank account at the Banbury branch of the National Westminster Bank, and is funded almost entirely by advertising revenue. The accounts are audited annually.

In 2010 DN will become a Community Interest Company in order to protect its organisers.

Copies of the current issue of DN are available in the Flower Shop, Market Place, with a box for donations.

Email the editor if you would like an alert when each new issue is ready.
