In 2008 a governing document was adopted by the Deddington News committee, which established a governing body comprising the two joint editors (Jill Cheeseman and Mary Robinson) and the treasurer (Buffy Heywood). In addition there is a committee of sub-editors comprising: Charles Barker (Parish Council correspondent), Alison Day (Clubs and Societies), Jean Flux (Diary), Molly Neild (Features), Frank Steiner (Church/chapel), Kristin Thompson (Letters); and two advertisement managers (John Sampson and Debbie Grimsley).

It has a 'society' bank account at the Banbury branch of the National Westminster Bank, and is funded almost entirely by advertising revenue.

In 2008 DN will become a private company limited by guarantee in order to protect its organisers. It will also seek charitable status.

Copies of the current issue of DN are available in the Flower Shop, Market Place, with a box for donations.

Email the editor if you would like an alert when each new issue is ready.
