Stekpanna performing at the Deddington Festival on 10 July. Stekpanna is an Anglo-Scandinavian contemporary jazz trio: guitarist Mads Kjølby (Denmark), drummer Petter Svärd (Sweden) and bassist Steve Kershaw (UK). Stekpanna's Russian collaborators are father and son Leonid (piano) and Nikolai Vintskevitch (sax).

Jenny Dahlman, Al Kitchen and Becky Jones. Jenny and Becky were the chief organisers and Al ran the bar. A massive £8,500 was raised for Nursery and PFSU funds (pics Vaughan Jones).

The Krokodiloes captivated an enthusiastic audience picnicking in Christine Blenntoft’s lovely garden in July. The group, a 12-man a cappella (unaccompanied) singing group comprising students from Harvard University, were visiting Deddington at the end of the 2011 worldwide tour
